Every prospect, one history

Personal mailboxes stay personal and shared pipelines stay shared — and nothing a prospect ever wrote is lost in somebody's archive.

A day on the desk for sales — stylised illustration.

The problem

Deal history scattered across personal inboxes

Every rep keeps prospects in their own Outlook, and the CRM only knows what someone remembered to paste in. When a rep is off or leaves, the thread that explains the deal leaves with them. Managers ask for updates because they cannot see the conversation itself.

How it works

How sales works in MimiDesk.

  1. 1

    A prospect writes in

Mail to a rep's personal mailbox stays private to its owner, while the contact and company build up from the correspondence rather than from typing.

  2. 2

    Bring in a specialist

Open a private side conversation with a solutions engineer or finance about one deal, without forwarding the prospect's email around the company.

  3. 3

Follow up on the promised day

Snooze a thread until the date you said you would come back, and a task on the conversation keeps the next step attached to the deal.

  4. 4

    Draft the next message

Ask Mimi to draft a follow-up from the conversation so far. She marks the gaps she cannot fill, and you finish it and send.

  • The history beside the reply

The contact and company sit next to the conversation, built from real correspondence rather than data entry.

  • Bring a colleague in with a note

Pull sales engineering or finance into one thread with an internal note. The customer sees one voice.

  • The CRM that keeps itself

Contacts and companies come from the mail that arrives. Mimi keeping records up to date is on the way, within the permissions the workspace sets.

Questions

MimiDesk for sales: common questions.

Is MimiDesk a CRM or an inbox?

Both, in one workspace. Contacts and companies are created from real correspondence, and the pipeline, companies and people screens sit beside the conversations that explain them. A record is earned by mail rather than typed in by hand.

Will my manager be able to read my personal mailbox?

No. Personal mailboxes are visible only to their owner. Shared pipeline inboxes are open to the team that works them, and reports describe workload and timing rather than what anyone wrote.

Can Mimi update CRM records for us?

Not yet. Today Mimi summarises and drafts replies when you ask. Keeping records up to date is on the way, and will run within the permissions the workspace sets, with each change recorded in the audit log.

Does it work with Gmail as well as Outlook?

Microsoft 365 is available today. Google Workspace support is built and coming soon, with IMAP and forwarding to follow, so mixed teams will be able to work from one desk.
