MimiDesk

Why MimiDesk

Customers don't open tickets. They start conversations.

Most customer service software was designed around the case number. MimiDesk is designed around the customer: one conversation, one history, and the records, the teamwork and the intelligence gathered around it.

One customer, two ways

The same week, told twice.

A customer with a billing question writes on Monday and again on Tuesday. Here is what happens to them.

Ticket-first

  1. Mon 09:02A customer emails. The message becomes a numbered case in a queue.
  2. Mon 11:40It is reassigned to billing, who start by reading it from the top.
  3. Tue 08:15The customer writes again. A second case opens, with no link to the first.
  4. Tue 15:30Sales asks what happened. The answer is in a forward, in someone's personal inbox.
  5. Wed 10:00The case is closed. The customer's details in the CRM were never updated.

Conversation-first, in MimiDesk

  1. Mon 09:02A customer emails. It lands in the team inbox as a conversation, with an owner.
  2. Mon 11:40Billing is pulled into that one conversation with a note, and Mimi's summary catches them up.
  3. Tue 08:15The customer writes again. It joins the same conversation and the same history.
  4. Tue 15:30Sales opens the customer's record and sees everything, without asking anyone.
  5. Wed 10:00Resolved. The contact and company records were kept current by the mail itself.

An illustrative week, not a customer case study.

Four reasons

What changes when the conversation comes first.

Customers have conversations, not tickets.

A customer does not open a case; they write to you, then write again, sometimes to a different person. MimiDesk keeps all of it as one conversation per customer, with one owner and one history, however many people it passes through.

  • One owner, visible to everyone
  • Replies thread together instead of opening new cases
  • Notes and @mentions stay inside the conversation

The CRM keeps itself.

CRMs usually ask your team to stop working and type what just happened into a separate system. MimiDesk builds contacts and companies from the mail that actually arrives, and shows the customer's whole history beside every reply.

  • Records created from real correspondence
  • History beside every conversation
  • No second tool to keep in sync

AI inside the work, under your control.

Mimi is not a separate window or a widget in the corner. She summarises long conversations and drafts replies in context today, and takes on more as your workspace allows it: always within the permissions your admins set, and always on the record.

  • Off until an admin turns her on
  • Sees only what the person asking can see
  • Every request written to the audit log

Private where it should be. Fair on price.

Every person keeps their own business mailbox, private by default, and team leads see workload from metadata, never message bodies. Every plan is the whole suite, and you pay for the people who reply: viewers are free.

  • Personal mailboxes private by default
  • Reports without reading anyone's mail
  • Viewers free on every plan

Questions

Thinking of switching?

What is the difference between a help desk and MimiDesk?

A traditional help desk turns each customer message into a numbered case to be closed. MimiDesk keeps every exchange with a customer as one conversation with one history, and puts the CRM, team discussion, tasks and AI around that conversation instead of in separate tools.

Why not just share a mailbox in Outlook?

A shared mailbox shows everyone the same messages, but not who owns each one, what was said internally, or what the customer's history is. MimiDesk adds ownership, internal notes, response targets, the customer record and reporting on top of your existing Microsoft 365 mailboxes.

Do we still need a separate CRM?

For many teams, no. MimiDesk builds contacts and companies from the conversations you already have and includes a pipeline view. Teams with a large, specialised sales process may still keep one, and MimiDesk has a read-only API.

Who is MimiDesk for?

Any team whose work is customer conversations: support, sales, customer success, account management and operations, in companies from a few people to enterprises.

How is MimiDesk priced?

Every plan includes the whole suite. You pay for the people who reply to customers, viewers are free, and Mimi is an add-on on the Scale and Enterprise plans. There is a 21-day trial.
